EAST VIEW FIREHOUSE

The central Islip Fire District has purchased has purchased a new lot where in a previously underdeveloped site in Central Islip. There is a need of a substation as the town increases its housing units. The sub station is to accommodate 3 different types of vehicles (2 latter trucks, 2 ambulances and 2 SUV response vehicles). The building is expected to follow LEED design standards as well as criteria for sustainability, following town code zoning regulations and ADA accessibility standards.
