Project 5 focuses on meaning, spatial patterns  and geometry give a meaning to a function or a space. By using hierarchical compositions like,rhythm, datum,symmetry and transformation   it expresses value of the project . This plus the concept of circulation from project 4 was implemented.

The assignment for this project is a for a painter who need a design of his residence home for his family including a detached studio and garage as three separate elements but being architecturally related.

For my thought of process, i started by using a transformation in an l axis. Then, separated the function from private and public. And finally, is started to break the public places into a rhythm going from solid orthogonal spaces for private to mixed and crossover spaces when it gets to public including the art room. My idea was wood, how the process works from the forest (studio) making its way to become its final product (private orthogonal rooms).
